Established in 1976, TGAMC was initially a private institution before being taken over by the government. Located on Dr. Rajkumar Road in Bellary, the campus spans approximately 8 acres, providing a serene environment conducive to learning. The college offers undergraduate (B.A.M.S.) and postgraduate (M.D. and M.S.) programs in various disciplines of Ayurveda. The campus houses well-established departments, each equipped with modern infrastructure to facilitate quality education in Ayurveda. The college also features a well-stocked library, advanced laboratories, and hostel facilities for students. The institution is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, and is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
