Established in 2010, Rajiv Gandhi Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital is the only Ayurvedic institution in South India funded by the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The college is affiliated with Pondicherry University and is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
