About College Campus

Established in 2009, Kolhan University is a public state university located in Chaibasa, Jharkhand. It was carved out of Ranchi University to cater to the higher education needs of the Singhbhum region. The urban campus is equipped with modern academic infrastructure including spacious classrooms, advanced laboratories, and a well-stocked central library. It provides hostel accommodations, recreational areas, and sports facilities to enhance student life. Kolhan University governs over 20 constituent and 34 affiliated colleges spread across three districts—West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan—offering programs in science, commerce, arts, law, and management. The university also emphasizes research and skill development to prepare students for modern challenges
