About Hospital
The Government Ayurvedic College and Hospital in Balangir is one of the three Ayurvedic colleges in Odisha and the oldest Ayurvedic institute in Western Odisha. Established on May 5, 1975, under private management with the active support of eminent citizens of Balangir, it was later taken over by the Government of Odisha on July 1, 1984. The hospital associated with the college serves as a practical training ground for students and provides essential healthcare services to the local community. It offers various treatments and therapies rooted in traditional Ayurvedic practices, focusing on holistic healing and wellness.
