Established on November 19, 1956, Anantha Laxmi Government Ayurvedic Medical College is one of the oldest Ayurvedic institutions in Telangana. The college is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) and is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM). The campus spans 5.19 acres and includes 14 well-established departments, a well-stocked library, advanced laboratories, and separate hostels for male and female students. Additionally, there is a herbal garden housing approximately 460 medicinal plant species, providing a rich resource for practical learning.
