- ✔ Useful for fresh registrants, Round-1 joiners seeking upgrades, and non-allotted candidates
Eligibility For Round-2
Round-2 is open to:
•Candidates who were registered in Round-1 but did not receive any allotment.
•Candidates who joined a Round-1 allotted seat and want upgradation in Round-2.
•Candidates who withdrew after joining Round-1 (may be eligible subject to rules) and fresh eligible candidates who did not register earlier.
•Candidates who neither registered nor re-registered for Round-2, or those who were allotted a seat in Round-1 but failed to join, will generally be excluded from Round-2. Re-registration is mandatory for all Round-1 registrants who wish to be considered in Round-2.
Instructions & Counselling Rules
1. Re-registration & Fee: All candidates must complete online registration or re-registration and pay registration & security fees through the university portal. Registration fee is non-refundable.
2. Choice Filling: Fresh choice filling is mandatory for Round-2. Select choices carefully — choices filled for Round-2 are valid only for this round.
3. Option Strategy: You may add many choices regardless of current vacancy status; seats vacated by upgradation/withdrawal until 15 Dec (05:00 PM) will be considered.
4. Surrender & Free Exit: Candidates who joined in Round-1 may surrender their seat (free exit) up to 15 Dec 2025 (05:00 PM) online only. After this deadline, no free exit will be allowed.
5. Forfeiture: If a candidate gets allotment in Round-2 but does not report to the allotted college within the prescribed time, the security deposit will be forfeited. Similarly, if admission is cancelled due to incorrect information or failure to produce original documents, the security will be forfeited.
6. Refund Rules: If a candidate secures valid admission and completes joining, security deposit (if not forfeited) / excess deposit will be refunded separately after completion of all counselling rounds (timeline as per university rules). Security fees will not be adjusted against tuition fee.
7. Editing Entries: Minor corrections (if allowed) may be done within the registration window; check the portal for correction fee and procedure. No extensions for editing will be granted beyond deadlines.
8. Seat Conversion: Vacant seats in reserved categories may be converted to other categories as per rules in Round-3. Round-3 & stray vacancy schedules will be published later.
9. Admission & Reporting: Allotted candidates must download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college with original documents and prescribed fees. Colleges will upload admitted candidate lists to the university OAMS by the specified deadline.
10. Legal/Bond Conditions: Candidates under compulsory service bonds or in-service must follow bond/service conditions; university is not liable for legal consequences arising from those bonds.
Caution
• Complete all formalities within the given timeline; no individual reminders will be sent. • Keep a printed copy of the submitted application, choice list and allotment letter for future reference. • The counselling board reserves the right to change the schedule or rules based on government/MCC/NMC/High Court directions — the latest updates on the university website will prevail.
