Private medical colleges offered the widest opportunity in this round, with admissions extending close to 6 lakh rank, making it crucial for higher-rank candidates.
UP MBBS Fee Structure 2025
The MBBS fee under UP State Counselling varies significantly by college type. Government medical colleges charge around ₹1 lakh per year as tuition fee (excluding hostel and mess charges). In contrast, private medical colleges have annual fees ranging up to ₹20 lakh or more for top and high-demand institutions. Candidates must confirm the exact payable amount during reporting as hostel, security and miscellaneous charges are separate.
Among top private medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh, annual MBBS tuition fees generally range between ₹13 lakh and ₹17.5 lakh, depending on the institution and location. Colleges such as Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences and Rajshree Medical College, Bareilly are positioned at the higher end of the fee spectrum, with yearly tuition around ₹17.16 lakh and ₹17.68 lakh respectively. Similarly, Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, Barabanki also falls in the upper fee bracket with an annual fee close to ₹16.85 lakh.
On the comparatively moderate side, colleges like Rama Medical College Hospital, Kanpur charge around ₹15.19 lakh per year, while Shree Gorakshanath Medical College, Gorakhpur and Ajay Singhal Institute of Medical Sciences, Shamli have tuition fees near ₹14.14 lakh. Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences, Varanasi represents the lower end among reputed colleges, with an annual MBBS fee of approximately ₹13.21 lakh, excluding hostel and other ancillary charges.
