NTA Finds 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram Channels Spreading Fake NEET News

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has identified a large number of social media channels spreading false information about NEET-UG 2025.
As per the official update, 106 Telegram channels and 16 Instagram accounts were found sharing fake news like paper leaks and false answer keys. These claims are completely baseless and misleading for students.
What Action Has NTA Taken?
To stop this fake news, NTA took quick action:
● More than 1,500 complaints were received on their Suspicious Claims Reporting Portal, launched on April 26, 2025.
● Based on these reports, they created a list of 122 channels/accounts.
● This list has been sent to the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
● NTA has asked Telegram and Instagram to remove these channels/accounts immediately and provide details of the people running them.
Strict action will be taken as per the law.
NEET-UG 2025 Exam: Full Security Measures In Place
The NEET-UG 2025 exam will be held on May 4, 2025, across 550+ cities and 5,000+ exam centres in India. To keep the exam fair and safe:
● District Magistrates and Police will supervise the entire process.
● Question papers will be transported with police escort.
● Coaching institutes will also be monitored closely.

NTA has clearly advised students and parents:
● Do not trust unofficial sources or random social media pages.
● Get all updates only from official NTA notifications and website.
● Report any suspicious news or channels through the official portal.
Sharing or using leaked papers or answer keys is illegal and can lead to serious punishment. NTA is fully committed to conducting NEET-UG 2025 in a fair, secure, and transparent way. Students should stay focused on their preparation and avoid any distractions caused by fake news. For genuine updates, always rely on the official channels only.
