MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 2 schedule with registration, choice filling, cutoff, result date and reporting deadlines along with important consent updates.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has published the official NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Counselling Schedule. This round includes seat matrix verification, registration, payment, choice filling, locking, result declaration and reporting. MCC has also enabled the Consent to Participate option, quota modification, and issued updates on newly increased seats. Candidates planning for better MD/MS/DNB options must follow the Round 2 instructions carefully.

MCC NEET PG 2025 – Round 2 Schedule

MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Choice Filling Extended to 13 December

MCC has extended the NEET PG 2025 Round-2 choice filling deadline until 13 December, 1:00 PM. Choice locking will now be available from 12 December, 4:00 PM to 13 December, 1:00 PM. Candidates should visit the MCC website regularly for updated instructions.

MCC has activated the Consent to Participate option for Round 2. Without giving consent, candidates will not be allowed to fill choices for Round 2. Consent is optional—if you are satisfied with your Round 1 seat, you may skip giving consent and your seat will remain safe.

Even after giving consent, if you do not fill choices later, your Round 1 seat will remain unchanged. This gives flexibility to candidates to keep their existing seat without any risk

The NEET PG 2025 Round-2 Seat Matrix released on 6 December 2025 includes Virtual Vacancies, Clear Vacancies, and Newly Added Seats.

MCC NEET PG 2025 Round 2 Expected Cutoff

Modify Quotas for Round 2 (AIQ / DNB / Deemed)

Candidates who did not select all quotas during Round 1 can now add new quotas for Round 2. You may add:
• All India Quota (AIQ)
• DNB Seats
• Deemed University Seats

No fresh registration is required. Steps:
1️⃣ Log in to MCC website
2️⃣ Click “Unlock Registration”
3️⃣ Add the quota(s) you want to include
➡️ One, two or all three quotas can be selected.

Newly Increased Seats Uploaded for Round 2

MCC has uploaded the list of newly increased seats for Round 2 on the Intra-MCC portal. These include additional seats in Government Medical Colleges and Deemed Universities. No new seats have been added for NBEMS courses.

The uploaded file is only for institute verification. The official Round 2 seat matrix will be published soon on the MCC website. The PDF does not include non-reported seats.
