This Schedule is for MD/MS and PG Diploma courses. This round covers seats that remained vacant, cancelled, forfeited or newly added after the first round. Only candidates who submit their original documents at KEA, Bengaluru within the prescribed timeline will be considered for Round-2 allotment.

Guidelines for Karnataka NEET PG 2025 Round-2
The second round of Karnataka NEET PG 2025 will include all seats that are vacant, cancelled, forfeited or newly added after Round-1. Only those candidates who submit their original documents at KEA within the given schedule will be considered for allotment. Candidates from Round-1 who selected Choice-2 or Choice-3, as well as those who had entered options earlier but did not receive any seat, are fully eligible for this round. KEA will release vacancy updates continuously, so aspirants must keep checking the official website for seat availability.
During Round-2, candidates may modify, delete or reorder their options freely, but they should keep only those choices that they are genuinely ready to join, because Round-2 allotment is compulsory and must be accepted without excuses. This round also includes virtual vacancies, which arise when a Round-1 Choice-2 candidate is upgraded to a better seat. Their previously held seat is immediately offered to the next eligible candidate, so all participants are advised to retain their preferred higher options even if the seat is not shown in the initial matrix.
There is no choice selection in Round-2; once a seat is allotted, the candidate must report to the designated college before the deadline. If a Choice-2 candidate is upgraded, they must join the new college; if not upgraded, they must report to the institution allotted in Round-1. KEA has clarified that all Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays will be treated as working days for counselling, and candidates must strictly follow all reporting timelines to avoid cancellation.
