The Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) November 2025 admission counselling is centrally managed by AIIMS New Delhi. The counselling process covers seat allocation for MD, MS, MDS, DM (6 years) and MCh (6 years) programmes across all Institutes of National Importance (INIs) including AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST. INI CET Nov 2025 — 1st Round Result

The INI CET Nov 2025 first round seat allocation will be published on 18 December 2025. Candidates allotted seats must accept online and report with documents between 19–24 December 2025 as per AIIMS portal instructions.

INI CET Nov 2025 — 2nd Round Result

The INI CET Nov 2025 second round seat allocation is scheduled for announcement on 9 January 2026. Accepted candidates must complete online acceptance and reporting between 10–15 January 2026; check www.aiimsexams.ac.in for full details.

INI CET November 2025 – Step-by-Step Counselling Process

Step 1: Online Registration
Candidates must register on the AIIMS counselling portal and submit personal and academic details. A Candidate ID and password are generated after successful registration. Registration is compulsory for participation in any counselling round.

Step 2: Preference Submission (Choice Filling & Locking)
Candidates log in using their credentials, select preferred INIs and specialties, arrange choices in order of priority and lock them. Once locked, choices cannot be changed.

Step 3: Mock Round Seat Allocation
A provisional mock seat allotment is released to help candidates understand expected outcomes. Candidates may rearrange preferences after this round.

Step 4: Final Submission of Preferences
Last chance to edit and submit choices. Failure to submit choices leads to ineligibility for that round.

Step 5: Final Seat Allotment (Round 1 & 2)
Seats are allotted based on INI CET rank, preference order, seat availability and reservation rules. Results are published online.

Step 6: Seat Acceptance Options
Candidates allotted a seat must choose:
• Accept & Exit – finalise admission
• Accept & Upgrade – eligible for Round 2 upgradation

If upgraded in Round 2, the Round-1 seat is automatically cancelled. Failure to join the upgraded institute results in a ₹3,00,000 penalty. There is no direct refusal option; non-response leads to seat forfeiture.

Step 7: Reporting & Document Verification
Candidates must physically report to the allotted institute with original documents. Non-reporting leads to cancellation of the seat.

Open Round Counselling
If seats remain after Round 2, AIIMS conducts an Open Round. Eligibility may include candidates who lost seats earlier or did not participate in initial rounds, depending on policy.

No. Choices locked in Round 1 cannot be modified in Round 2. If you fail to lock choices, they are locked automatically.
