Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2025 Round-1 Merit List (MD/MS) has been released on 9 December. Candidates can check ranks, download the merit list PDF, review the schedule and expected cutoff updates.
Chhattisgarh has released the NEET PG 2025 State Quota counselling framework for MD/MS seats along with a tentative Round-1 schedule and separate notices for postponement of the online application process and bonus marks for in-service candidates. The first round timetable was revised on 17 November 2025, but the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) has temporarily kept the online application process on hold and advised candidates to follow updates on www.cgdme.in.

Round-1 Online Application Process – Postponed
Earlier, DME Chhattisgarh had invited online applications for MD/MS State Quota seats through a public notice issued on 18 November 2025. However, via a subsequent notice dated 22 November 2025, the authority informed that the online application process for the First Round of counselling has been postponed with immediate effect due to unavoidable administrative reasons.
Candidates who were planning to register for Round-1 are advised to regularly check the official website www.cgdme.in for fresh instructions, revised dates and updated counselling notices. No new registration steps should be assumed active unless explicitly re-notified by the Directorate of Medical Education.
In-Service Candidates – Bonus Marks & Service Cut-off Date
For in-service candidates participating in Chhattisgarh NEET PG 2025 counselling, the DME has clarified the calculation of bonus marks for government service. As per the Chhattisgarh Medical Postgraduate Admission Rules 2025 (Rule 9), service experience has been counted up to the NEET PG 2025 exam date, 03 August 2025. Any service rendered after 03 August 2025 will not be considered for bonus mark calculation.
During Round-1 preparations, the service certificates uploaded by in-service candidates were scrutinised and a list was prepared based on the accepted service duration. The Directorate also allowed candidates to raise claims or objections regarding their recorded service details by visiting the specified office room in Raipur or by contacting the counselling helpline and sending scanned copies of original documents to the official email ID cgdme.counseling@gmail.com by the given deadline. Although that objection window has now passed, the same rules on service cut-off and bonus marks will remain relevant for upcoming counselling rounds.
