The 500-bed GIMS Hospital is fully operational and offers comprehensive care across all major specialities. There are between 1500–2000 patients who come in each day.Several wards have more than 300 beds. For medical, surgical, orthopaedic, gynaecological, paediatric, ENT, and eye patients, separate wards are offered.For the convenience of patients, a patient transfer vehicle is available round-the-clock.There are six portable operating rooms.
