One of the six new AIIMS institutions created under the PMSSY programme is AIIMS Bilaspur. The mentor institution for AIIMS Bilaspur is PGIMER Chandigarh. You may observe floating clouds during the monsoon season, and in the summer, there is green grass and blue sky. Only 2.5 hours from Chandigarh and 1.5 hours from Shimla separate this location from being ideal. The AIIMS Bilaspur auditorium is nearly finished. They give you double room to share in the hostels. However, the spaces are sizable. The academics are good here.
